Faith offers Godly Play Sundays at 9:00am for children ages 4 -14. Families gather in the parish hall at 9am for Godly Play and then are brought into the sanctuary after the sermon to join their parents/caregivers.
We choose to be formed by Godly Play because we find it to be a curriculum that acknowledges the mystery God is pursuing all of us – including (and maybe especially!) children – through the stories of Jesus and the People of God in Scripture, wonder, and play. Godly Play honors the centrality of children and their capacity for spiritual life with God and community.

Children and youth are very welcome at Faith and are encouraged to participate in services as much as they choose. Children are welcome to take communion along with their parents/caregivers. Children serve as acolytes, help with the offering, and are given percussion instruments at the end of service to bring a joyful noise to our closing hymn. Within the sanctuary there is a play area in the back and there is a nursery room where children and parents can be and still see and hear the services if they desire.
2024 SUMMER AND FALL
Over the next several months (ALL THE WAY TO ADVENT!) in Godly Play we will be exploring stories from the Hebrew scriptures (the “Old Testament”). Today we will be learning about Sarai and Abram and their journey toward becoming a family that numbers like the stars in the sky and the grains of sand in thedesert. Engage your child/ren this week or to sit with the story yourself.
