Faith Episcopal Church in Poulsbo is an inclusive and welcoming Episcopal church in North Kitsap. We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, Washington.<\/p>\r\n

Faith members have diverse views and are committed to accepting individuals where they are in their faith journey. Church members range from cradle Episcopalians to people who come from a variety of different faith traditions, and to those who have little or no church experience.<\/p>\r\n

At worship services we reassure visitors and newcomers that they can follow along with the bulletin or just be present and listen. We also affirm that everyone who walks through the doors or watches online is a part of the community. We tell people it doesn\u2019t matter how often you attend, that once you come to Faith you are a beloved member of the community. We are a happy congregation with strong pastoral connections to each other.<\/p>\r\n

Our worship service is joyful and participatory. Children are welcome to participate in worship and serve at the altar. Worship is a time of listening, reflecting on the words, and sharing with each other our sorrows and happiness.<\/p>\r\n

Our Story and Brief History<\/h4>\r\n

Faith Episcopal started in the mid-1980s when a group from the former St. Charles Episcopal Church in Poulsbo broke away and we began meeting in homes and other community buildings in the North Kitsap area. In 1990 this small group became a mission church of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia and took the name \u201cFaith Episcopal.\u201d The Faith Episcopal parishioners moved into the church and parish property on Little Valley Road in March of 2016, where we continue to grow and flourish as an inclusive and welcoming Episcopal Christian community.<\/p>\r\n
